Do I need to turn off my wireless mouse?

Hello.

I used the same mice for both work and gaming at home.

My question is: does my wireless mouse still draw power from my laptop even when I've left home? Like, does the received still drain energy even if I'm at the other corner of the city if I don't turn it off?

Or is the distance between the mice and the receiver enough to make it stop drawing power?

Also some mice have sleep mode.  They go to sleep after a little bit of time.  I don't know what yours is to know if it sleeps or not.  If it sleeps no worries, but if your mouse doesn't do that then ya turning it off will save some energy for you.
