For the past few days I have been trying to figure out how controlers like iCUE are able to adjust color schemes of RGB DIMMs. Even though there is officially supported controler from my RAM manufacturer, I got quite interested in building my own controler. I am using Corsair vengeance rgb pro with x570 motherboard. So far I have found that these DIMMs are possibly communicating using I2C bus and it is possible to send specific messages that would tell DIMM to update its shiny part, however am making this control on Windows 10 os.

What would be safer approach to use I2C bus for this purpouse? Also maybe anyone here has done something similar?

Appologies for my broken inglish

Here's one Reddit post of someone who managed to get it to work with G.Skill RAM.
