Yes! The only thing you miss out on is PCI-E 4.0 (Asus removed it in the latest BIOS :)) You may be limited in terms of memory speed also..

overkill in CPU power delivery, but memory overclocking may or may not fall short.

You're fine. The latest BIOS releases have made memory compatibility great. The only time you might notice a difference Vs X570 is if you are pushing DDR4 4000

max I think is 3600 with good timings last I checked? Definitely in manual OC territory (if even reachable) with your current kit.
