Can I use a i5-9400F with Gigabyte H310M-S2? Does it create any problems?

Probably needs a BIOS update before you can use it, as the H310 chipset pre-dates the 9400F

I have the board with a Pentium G5400. Thinking bout upgrading to a better CPU.

then updating the Bios and slotting in the 9400f will work fine. i assume you have a dedicated GPU.

you can, just keep in mind that h310 has a slower pcie line

Yup. It said it didn't have any of those HD graphics... So everything's gonna be fine?

Nope. Tho it means the system wont work without it

Running at full 16x bandwidth. No

Otherwise it can affect a tiny bit.
