ram Would I get dual channel ram benefits with 2x4gb, 2x8gb setup

I have the B450-GAMING-PRO-CARBON-AC motherboard and was wonder if I would still get dual channel ram benefits if I mixed ram sizes 2x4gb with 2x8gb.

I dont know if the modals matter but the

2x4 is G.skill ripjaws ddr4 3000mhz(F4-3000C15D-8GRBB) and the

2x8 is G.skill ripjaws ddr4 3000mhz(F4-3000C15D-16GRBB)

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 2400G

Most likely just buy some good/decent 16GB kit and replace the 8GB kit entirely so you don't have to worry about losing performance.

 

Granted it's not likely to be much performance, at least for gaming.
