New PC for 11 years. Need some help checking the right parts

Feel free to judge my first PC:

I will be buying this probably mid october, so I have plenty of time to change, also I will be ordering in Poland if this changes something.

I know, quite expensive rig, but I want it to last long.

Is it the best setup for that price? Should I change something to another model with same price or lower? Which one would you prefer?

Or maybe buy cheaper x for pricier y?

Also my fan setup on this case will be like this:

2x NF-A14 140mm front intake

1x NFS12A 120mm rear exhaust

2x stock fan 120mm top exhaust

Is it good?

Be gentle as it is my first build after a month of loose research,  so when trying to swap an item I would love to see why this change so I can learn ?

P.S. Sorry if my english was bad somewhere.

My apologies, should have asked the first time, what resolution will you be playing at?

No need to, i should've mention it along with purpose. Right now i have my crappy 60Hz 1080p, but in future i would like to plug it into solid 144Hz QHD

Honestly I'd go ryzen, even with a QHD 144hz monitor I wouldn't be able to justify the cost, even the 3600x is perfectly fine if you are just gaming. But the 3700x is a beautiful chip.

But that's just me, if you can reduce platform cost you could possibly switch to a nvme drive and get that sweet bandwidth. Or just put the cash towards that sexy monitor you want.

He already has an nvme drive, albeit an overpriced one...

A few tweaks I would like to make,

1. At 1440p resolution you get more GPU bound as compared to 1080p and even with overclocked i9 9900K @5.0GHz the difference isn't worth the extra pay as the 3700X will give you similar fps with decent overclocks. No need to tell you that either are enough for almost all sort of programming needs.

2. For RAM, 16 GB should be more than enough for Gaming but since you want to make it more future proof and you have the money to do so, 32 GB is a safer bet however I wouldn't spend the extra money for cas 14 kits as the difference they might make in some rare cases is unnoticeable. Paying a few bucks more for RGB is not a bad idea though.

3. 970 Evo+ is not a thing you require for gaming. You can get similar load times from half priced Sabrent Rocket which is just as fast. 970 is used in professional productivity system as those are the cases where you might benefit from them like working with huge file sizes.

4. Paying a $150 dollar more on the Video Card just for ROG isn't a wise idea. You can get similar performance, temps and decent RGB from something like Zotac Gaming AMP Triple.

5. The case you can keep it as it has remarkable air flow but I would go for the P350X, looks Sexy, has great air flow, Tempered Glass and saves you a few bucks so why not.

6. Unfortunately for the Power Supply, we cannot recommend you SeaSonic Products as they are having some issues. Corsair RMx and Be quiet Pure Power 11 is what you should be looking for.

Made all those changes for you and saved you approx. $700

Yeah, I’ve been thinking about ryzen also, as they would be better option for all-purpose.

Also you mean that intel cpu and this MB will limit the power of the nvme ssd i chose? Or you meant pcie 4.0 will be compatible?

Hardest part of learning computer parts was for me the storage :P

Maan, now I am considering a change in CPU:D

Honestly, I just misread the drive and thought it was a sata drive, but pcie 4 is nice tbf.

One quick question:

The hardware of your choice like that PSU or cooler should be fine for that decent overclocking you mentioned?

Well Ryzen CPUs aren't that great overclockers so what I would recommend is enable Precision Boost and let it do its own thing. However if you want to overclock I can absolutely assure you that you can do not just decent but above decent overclocking with the FUMA 2 and TUF Gaming PLUS Mobo which has more than capable heat sinks even for a overclocked 3900X. For the power supply, you are even fine with a 500W module, but 600W will make things a bit quieter as their will be less load on the PSU. No need to worry about the quality, its a very high quality, inaudible, Gold Rated, semi modular, German product.

Sorry for constant asking, but I think I should mention this:

1. As for where I live (Poland, so that is why I may be responding in different times) theres no available SB Rocket SSD.

If I were to buy it from nearest amazon, it would be like 25 dollar cheaper than the 970 evo plus 1TB.

So, maybe there would be another SSD you would recommend?

2. The GPU you chose is very similiar priced as the ROG in my country. Maybe you could help me find choose other ones?

On polish trusted websites i found these, it would be easier for you to check like this:

ASUS RTX 2080 Ti ROG STRIX 11Gb GDDR6                        5 769,00 zł = 1 465,40 $

- MSI GeForce RTX 2080 Ti GAMING X TRIO 11GB GDDR6     5 699,00 zł = 1 447,07 $

- Gigabyte GeForce RTX 2080 Ti GAMING OC 11GB GDDR6  5 199,00 zł = 1 320,25 $

- ZOTAC GeForce RTX 2080 Ti AMP                                        5 710,00 zł = 1 449,97 $

And here are identical cards, but i found them on shady website ( currently I'm investigating their trustfulness by asking for opinion known Polish IT youtuber):

- ASUS           5 370,70 zł = 1 364,13 $

- MSI              5 095,50 zł = 1 294,23 $

- Gigabyte     4 794,50 zł = 1 217,62 $

- ZOTAC        4 811,70 zł = 1 221,52 $

European VAT tax are painful, I know :P

No problem.

1. Crucial P1 and if that isn't available then just grab an Intel SSD6 (660p)

2. If you were to buy from polished trusred sites then Gigabyte card will perform similar for less but if you will only feel satisfied buy paying the extra money for ROG then you can do that because considering anything in between isn't worth it as all of em are similar priced to the ROG except for the Gigabyte.

From shady sites I'd pick the Zotac card as it is much cheaper then Asus and MSI and I like it more over Gigabyte.

I managed to find Sabrent Rocket for $150,43 all tax included. I m happy because the ones you proposed are, in fact cheaper, kind of slower.

About pure performance, Zotac or ASUS one? Pure curiosity.

Asus. But the difference in performance is extremely narrow, almost negligible and both will keep the temps cool however I have to say Asus does it better and so they charge you a hefty premium for the ROG. And yeah they have better aesthetics imo too.... If you don't care about any of that stuff and want same performance for less, then Zotac it is.

So the guy from an online store emailed me that "I should take the EVGA or usual "Strix", because from his experience the OC's are more often breaking or having problems with stability when working". Should I be worried about that?

Well thats unusual to hear that the cards from other brands are breaking but you never mentioned that you could get an EVGA 2080 Ti. IMO EVGA is a much reliable brand than GIGABYTE and ZOTAC imo, but then again it doesn't mean that other vendors OC versios are breaking.

Here is my priority for brands when I am out to buy a card and if money isn't a issue,

1. Asus

2. EVGA

3. MSI

4. Zotac and Gigabyte

Again, this is just a matter of personal preferences and by no means that mean that the vendors which are lower in order of my list of priority make low quality products.

Also if you could get the EVGA black version of 2080 Ti, I am sure you will find it much cheaper than Strix. Similar for the Zotac AMP dual fan, it is quiet a bit cheaper than their triple fan AMP version. But if the comparison is between the Zotac AMP and EVGA BLACK, then you know what I'd went for.

Also when you are spending this much money, get something that makes you satisfied from inside. You should have a feeling that you have put your money in the right place. Paying a few extra bucks just to get that inner satisfaction isn't a bad idea. But do research about every decision you make. As we are always here to help :)
