Games to show off at 4K TV

any less demanding games that look really great on 4K tv 55"?

want a great contrast on showing off 1080p vs 4K

Maybe a Source engine game? Portal 2 would be an excellent candidate.

Dirt 3, Grid 2 or Grid Autosport also would be an excellent choice for this.

 

I guess the specs of what you wanna run the games off of would really be useful in this scenario.

Never played Dirt 3, but Dirt Rally and Dirt 4 are both very, very well built and optimized titles, don't really take much to drive unless you're slapping everything to ultra. Some of the few bigger titles I've gotten to run silky smooth on just a laptop iGPU.

Yeah, Portal or Portal 2 would look great.

 

I actually did a play through of Portal again on my 4K OLED.  For an old game, it sure has held up well visually. 

 

Also, some I can think of:

Forza Horizon 4 (if OP has it, looks nice with HDR on)

Warframe

Okami HD

Borderlands 1 and 2  (better with ReShade on top)

Darksiders 1 and 2 (ReShade on top can really make these two pop)
