Why do cases just have bad IO placement? Am I missing something?

Cases like the Q300L (mATX) and Enthoo Pro M (ATX) have their I/O on the window side of the case.

I'd argue it's only difficult to reach if you have your case positioned in such a way that it's difficult to reach.

The issue is that with the majority of cases you cannot position the machine so that the side panel is easily viewable, and have the IO be easily accessible. So you get to choose between having easy access to your IO, OR being able to view the internals.

I just dont understand why you would design a case to be viewed from the side, but make it a pain in the ass to access the IO.

Also, the EVGA DG-85 does have I/0 in the correct spot aswell (though its about the only thing I like about that case). If only they could have that IO on something like an H500 or Meshify C

I mean I personally need at least one 5.25" bay because I still use physical media for some things, mostly ripping movies and burning CDs for dance classes. But yeah I'd be totally fine with having the I/O for my Focus G on the side rather than the top. Like it's a great case either way

It can fit three 120mm fans at the front, which is more than the H500 can fit ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
