Looking to go back to Android

I switched over to the iPhone 7 Plus when it launched after years of owning the various Note products.  At the time, my employer paid for service and the phone, allowing us to keep it if we left the organization.  I was given a good trade-in price on the 7 from Gamestop of all places and picked up an iPhone X.  Well, the last couple launches of the iPhone have been less than exciting and the Note 10+ has really caught my eye.  Microsoft stores are giving a $650 trade-in credit for the X which makes it even more enticing.

 

I saw Linus' review and the negatives he outlined aren't a big deal.  The only thing that's giving me pause, is lack of Android Auto in my car and if I should get the 5G version.  I will have to give up my Apple Watch, but I'm probably not getting much out of it besides notifications when not carrying my phone.  Looks like Samsung has a couple watch alternatives that could work.

5G is not worth paying extra for, unless you live or commute in very high density areas where people compete for bandwidth and a high chance of 5G getting installed there

We have 5G at our office and the stadium here has coverage which would be nice during events.  I've seen plenty of times where 4G is a crawl during a game.

 

The car only does Car Play, not Android Auto.  May not be a big deal since I will have a Tesla Y whenever it's released and those don't support screen mirroring anyways.

5G needs more power to operate.

Doesn't look like the 650 trade-in deal is good on the S10 phones, just the Note.
