I'm getting a new computer but i am still on the edge about what cpu

 

I want it for high end gaming (open world) and architecture (autocad, archicad, revit) I am playing 1080p but i will upgrade sometime next year

I know the 9700k is better for 1080p gaming but should i go with the 3700x since ill upgrade soon?

 

Intel motherboard: Z390 Aorus ELITE

Amd motherboard: Strix X470-F gaming

you can get a much better board for a little more. this board uses the same VRM as the z390 Hero from asus (their top board)
