I just ran many userbenchmark tests and they all came back with the same result. Everything else is fine except for my RAM. It did not used to be like this. I just went into the bios and checked everything. I even upped the voltage. Any Ideas. I already checked on background programs and nothing seems out of the ordinary. Maybe reseating the ram would fix it? any ideas? My specs are, ryzen 5 2600, rtx 2060, 16gb trident z ram, Asrock b450pro4 MOBO.

it also seems to be a 3200 kit running at 3000 speed. i'd suggest enabling xmp/docp since if it isn't running rated speeds, it's probably also running default timings. that kit is pretty standard so should be in the mobo QVL, though i haven't looked.

CPU: AMD Sempron 2400+ / MOBO: Abit NF7-S2G / GPU: WinFast A180BT 64MB / RAM: Mushkin DDR333 256MBx2 / HDD: Seagate Barracuda 7200RPM 120GB

Have you confirmed that you are actually in dual c

I guess not really. I have the b450 pro4 motherboard and in the manual it says that you can have the RAM sticks in the slots next to each other to have dual channel. Is there a way to check for sure? I mean I have ran userbenchmark before and it did not have the same results for the ram. Is it possible my MOBO is dying?

I cant do that unless I OC my CPU. If I enable it it wont boot into windows. It says on my motherboards website the only way to get it to work is to OC the CPU

Are you sure? Is there a way to check if I am running duel channel without taking a stick out? I mean it detects both sticks.

it's here, def gotta have the two sticks spaced out. looking down at the board, should be second and fourth slots

I really did not know that. Would that maybe be the reason I am seeing these results and after doing this would I be able to enable XMP without having the errors I was having before?

Yes, 100% sure. But if you want to check for yourself, the "Memory" tab in CPU-Z will tell you that you're in single channel.

Why are you so hesitant to move one stick to the correct slot? Takes 15 seconds.

it's possible that's the reason XMP wasn't enabling, worth a shot since moving one stick of ram over is pretty easy and gets dual channel working correctly

just did it an now CPUZ is saying I am running duel thanks. Feel kinda retarded because I new thats the case in most MOBO but I read the manual wrong and thought A1 and a2 go together. Thanks!
