At least with a pre-builts you don't have to rip your hair out trying to troubleshoot your computer. If it doesn't work, you can usually send it back and they'll fix it free of charge. I think at this point I would have paid $1,300 for my $1,000 build (just to save me from the utter frustration and tears it has caused me)

(If you can't tell, I've been stressing tf over my new build not working. All I want to do is play borderlands 3 and kingdom come)

I don't see why your PC would have any issues, unless you're trying to apply your RAM's XMP profile?

Pre-builts can have all the same issues and generally have worse motherboards, power supplies, and heatsinks.

I edit my posts a lot, Twitter is @LordStreetguru just don't ask PC questions there mostly...

Spoiler

What is your budget/country for your new PC?

what monitor resolution/refresh rate?

What games or other software do you need to run?

If you don't want to built it just order the parts and have it assembled at a computer shop... it's like $60 CDN.
