Opinions on this £500 build - Final Mk.6

More or less finished the computer spec list now. I have my storage so I have not included it into the pcpp list. All thoughts / other recommendations welcome

Looks okay to me. Maybe add in an Arctic Freezer eSports 34 since the Stealth is not the best cooler in the world and the 34 is like 20 quid

Yh cooler I will be upgrading a week or two after since Ill be ocing my cpu :D. Probs going to go with a dr4. 

 

Think the case will have good enough air flow? 

 

Also the ram your recommended, how likely is it that ill be able to oc to 3600mhz cl16 with safe voltage etc and stability? Just want to be as sure as i can that ill get 1 : 1 performance.

The case is fine - the 3600 and 1660 Ti barely output any heat.

As for overclocking, just enable PBO - that's more performance than a manual OC will net you unless you spend a ridiculous amount of time with trial and error.

 

As for memory - luck of the draw my friend.

I figured that would be the case with the memory, am I better risking it and possibly being hit with a can of whoopass with the ballistix or should i find the best quality 3200mhz cl16 and try and oc that?

Go for the Ballistix - Buildzoid likes the kit so I assume he has a good reason
