Hi, I'm speccing an AMD build with the Asus Prime X570-P and PC Partpicker says it has an additional 4 pin power connector which the PSU I chose does not have.

I originally had the BeQuiet Straight Power 650 in the build and then tried an EVGA Supernova but PC Partpicker said neither has it.

Can anyone enlighten me as to what all this means? And what psu would be suitable for that motherboard?

For info, I'm going with the 3700x and a 2080 Super gpu.

Cheers.

YOu will have an 8 pin and a 4 pin EPS CPU power plug on the board... no need to worry about the 4 pin, all you need is the 8 pin. Nothing on the current market for main stream, even the 3950x when it releases... will pull enough power to overload an 8 pin header.

The extra 4 pin can be completely ignored, as it doesn't have any impact on regular users, only extreme overclocking.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B
