Hi guys...

Between 3 brands which releases ITX X570 motherboards I'm mostly interested in Gigabyte X570 I Aorus Pro Wifi, because the heatsinks looks elegant and classy enough for my taste except its chipset's fan existence.

That aside, which one is the best value for its performace/features?

Motherboards do not have any noticeable performance difference.

As for the features - choose what matter to you. How many USB ports do you need? Do you need WiFi? How many M.2 slots? How many audio plugs/ports?

All of the X570 motherboards have the chipset fan, except for the X570 Aorus Xtreme which is $700 and is an ATX board.

The Aorus Pro Wifi is a good choice, as X570 itx boards are pretty much non-existent atm.

If you are looking for best value I'd say go for an X470 itx, you can get  a decent board with great features for cheaper if you go X470, the only reason you would need an X570 is if you really want it and are going to be using the Pcie Gen. 4 with one of the new M.2 drives other than that a decent X470 board can handle any of the new CPUs just fine.

The problem if I go with X470 boards is I dont have any AM4 AMD CPU to update the BIOS to be usable. I don't think I can get the free CPU to update the BIOS.

AMD bootkit.

You can also just ask the shop you bought it from to update the bios.

I only see your reply if you @ me.

You can ask the seller before purchase if it has the update, also most B450 and X470s I have been ordering for builds have had the update already. Once the update comes out the next motherboard shipment from manufacturer to seller usually has it. And if you do get one that doesn't you can get an AMD bootkit from the manufacturer for free to use to update the bios and then send back or most repair shops can also do the update for you for usually pretty cheap.

Most of X470 ITX boards doesn't look quite appealing. Aorus ITX is only exist with Z390 (which is a good looking board) while no X470 version of it. I don't buy overpriced gaming BS without real FPS boost from their "Gaming" label from most brands. Lol.

I like good looking hardwares and mostly the ones with the most elegant looks without too much cosmetics. Aorus almost always has that, but unfortunately no X470 ITX. While any X570 doesn't convince me good enough by their chipset fans, as they might not last for years and fail then ruin its thermal and end up lowering performance.

Asus B450i is identical to their X470i, so that is a very good "budget" alternative. Aorus b450i is also good.

You have to keep in mind that in ITX form factor, the x470 and b450 chipsets are pretty much identical, because SLI support and other features you are not getting anyways on an iTX board.

I only see your reply if you @ me.

Thanks for the general info.

How about VRM and their heatsinks performance?

I like to push CPU as hard as I want.

For example I know someone who tested a Z390i Aorus Pro Wifi, where it's being tested in 2 different way with AIO.

It was an open bench at 23C ambient with 9900K at 1.25v 5GHz.

Condition 1, it was tested at high LLC without any fan giving airflow to the VRM heatsink and it thermal shutdown at 85C on the VRM.

Condition 2, was tested in same manner but with a single slim 120mm fan giving airflow to the VRM heatsink, and the temp was 20C lower than before and no thermal shutdown.

Which X470/B450 ITX board that has a good overclockability (good VRM and heatsink in term of thermals) without too much gaming cosmetics and nice price?

What I like from Aorus ITX boards are their reasonable price and their heatsinks are elegant and silver coated. But unsure about its overclockability.

out of the b450 itx boards, MSI one has the best VRMS, asus and aorus are tied.

I only see your reply if you @ me.

Ok that was about how good the VRM performance in power delivery.

How about the thermal capacity of the heatsink if I have a case with poor thermal (because ITX cases!) or no nearby fan(s) which giving airflow to the VRM heatsink?

I guess I need the one with beefy heatsinks, but which one?

It's getting complicated.

An AM4 ITX, good overclockavility, and silver beefy heatsinks without too much gaming cosmetics, without being too expensive.

Should I give up in one of the condition?

I really like the X570i Aorus Pro Wifi because of its looks and value.

I don't mind to spend as much as its cost is reasonable, but that damn tiny fan say bold "NO!" to me because its longevity concerns and noise.

And also big NO! to ASUS and ASRock X570 ITX ones as they are too vocal about "Gaming" BS in their aesthetics.

I would go with that then. The small fan isn't that big of a problem, it will last 5 years or so.

What dba is that tiny fan spin?

I'm planing a silent build and that tiny fan existence irks me even by just seeing it there.

this is the best current ITX board for x570.

LOL.. Simply judge by my interest to stop my nonesense concerns keep flowing..

Thanks..

The fan makes it the best of the best tho..

I think I just grab it while I'm hyped, and work harder to get some additional budget for the other components instead of getting an X470i/B450i to save some.

Have a nice day..

If you don't do PCIE 4.0 SSD raids, then it probably wont be too loud.
