Hey all,

So I've been having a few issues with my audio on youtube, it only seems to happen on Google Chrome (and seemingly only on Youtube, but I might be wrong here), basically the audio seems to randomly making popping/crackling noises.

Except for this, my audio is working as intended.. and I really have no idea.

Like I said before, it seems to just be Chrome which has this issue. Youtube works perfectly on Edge, and it's not my plugins in Chrome either (does the same thing in incognito), plus all I have is adblock anyway.

I'd switch to Edge, but there are other reasons why I use Chrome, so I'd rather not.

I'm 99% convinced it's not anything hardware related since it doesn't do it anywhere else, perhaps a setting in Chrome? And I have a pretty good PC, which can handle almost anything at max settings just fine.

I've tried wiping Chrome's data stored, which did nothing, and all my drivers are up to date.

So I have no idea...

Any help would be greatly appreciated,

- Thanks

Anything which I thought might help:

- Headphones: Razer Kraken (newest model as of writing this post)

- Dolbyy Atmos (for headphones) is enabled, but I have the issue with it turned off anyway,

- Audio Driver: Realtek 1.1.136.0

- Chrome Version: 77.0.3865.75 (Official Build) (64-Bit) - Up to date.

- Windows 10 (64-Bit)

Try to turn off hardware acceleration in chrome settings

Did it, haven't noticed any issues so far, so it likely could have been that.

Either way, thanks for the help :)

EDIT: Still a few popping noises, but they're a lot less noticable.
