MSI Z390 Gaming Carbon / Asus Strix Z390-F which one

Ive used the Msi board for a while and it has 8pin + 4 pin cpu power while the Strix only has 8pin (can handle constat of 235w) ... 

ive been running my 9900k@5ghz 1.32-33vcore ... wondering if i should stick with MSI even though ive had poor luck with their motherboards , will it make any difference that the Asus board only has 1 x 8pin cpu power while MSI has 8+4pin cpu power ?

Why change if you are not having issues now?

 

Don't judge by the company, especially if it is quite a known one. They all make some better, some worse.

keep the current board, if you have to switch get the gigabyte elite and up.

To answer you all ;) i have a topic in the storage thread, the MSI board totally refused to work with 2 x nvme m.2 drives and gave me Pci-e Gen 2 x2 speeds.... ;) its off on RMA atm thats why i was asking about the Asus board since they are the exact same price and i would be able to do a straight swap .. but i think im buying a PCI-E extension card the Asus Hyper V2 with 4x gen3 x4 m.2 slots ;)
