need info on note 9 battery

i recently got a galaxy note 8 as a hand-me down from my dad and i can't stand the battery life

my plan is to replace it with a battery from a galaxy note 9

here are the battery specs:

the dimensions of the original battery are: 88 x 39 x 5 (mm)

and the dimensions of the note 9 battery are: 87.7 mm x 41.5 mm x 6 mm

we are talking about 2.7 millimeters of differnce

do you guys think its possible??

its a different size so it wont fit and the battery itself is charged differently i think

Are the connectors in the same location? Are the connectors physically the same too (same purpose, same signal, same voltages)?

Not really worth the hassle, batteries generally are not compatible.

well as far as i've seen the voltage seems to be 3.85v on both of them and they use the same connector

the only observable difference is the one about the size
