"Start" in Task Manager

Hello, i recently bought windows 10 and i try to clean up as much things as possible to save memory.
This might sound like a dumb question but do you know what is this "Start" function and if i should remove it? I wonder if it is part of windows or not as i downloaded a couple of software, i'm afraid it could be a spyware or something.Capture.PNG.a1483cdf8e93e44ab172a89f8f6fcae3.PNG

It's part of the Windows OS and displays GUI including the Start Menu.
