Hello, I'm hoping someone can give me some insight, since I haven't really found anything similar online. I built my PC a few months back and my psu has made this sound since day 1 and basically I'm sick of hearing it XD. It also does it when the pc is powered down.

Things I have tried

- eco mode/no eco

- disabled all power save settings

- over clocking

- checked all of my cables

- updated bios

- bought a ups

- different outlets

So I'm wondering if anyone else knows what this could be and what I should do. It sounds basically identical to this.

Specs

- msi rtx 2070 gaming z

- msi meg ace

- corsair vengeance rgb 16gb 3200mhz

- corsair h150i

- i9 9900k

Wanna know what's funny? You have never specified WHAT Seasonic Platinum it is.

You do know they have more than one yes?

If it's a Focus or Focus + then you've likely done a bad purchase.

My bad sorry. Wrote down my girlfriends psu by accident. It's a Seasonic Prime Ultra 850W 80 Plus Titanium Power
