rx 5700xt, rtx 2060 or vega 56 for 1440p?

Hello everyone!

I'm going to build a gaming pc to play games in 1440p resolution 144hz. My cpu will be a Ryzen 5 2600, 16gb ram 3200mhz and for the gpu I'm thinking of buying either the rtx 2060 or the rx 5700xt. The rtx 2060 costs 370 euros (msi gaming z) and the rx 5700xt costs 410 euros (gigabyte model). In reviews I have also seen that the vega 56 is very good for 1440p , very similar to the rtx 2060 in performance. How is that possible if the rtx 2060 is clocked at 1700mhz and the vega 56 at 1200-1500mhz?

Which card should I buy for 1440p 144hz?

Thank you !

Get a Vega 56, flash Vega 64 bios on it, overclock memory and undervolt core, you will be within 15% of a 5700xt.

8700K @ 5.2ghz 1.29V, 4x8 Rev.E @ 4040 13-20-20-39 1.7V.

The 5700 XT custom models are the clear choice. No need to hack anything, just plug in and you get perfoance on the level of a 2070S with low heat, noise and power draw

By custom you mean those duel/triple fan models? Are the blower models good? Seems like any non-blower model is much more expensive than the blower ones.

Also, will the cpu bottleneck the rx 5700xt?

The blowers are horrible. A duel or triple fan card is the minimum

5 1600 is already good enough for 1440p but i dont think 5 1600 can achieve 144hz on a single core games.

So, if I go for a duel or triple fan rx 5700xt model, those cost around 470 euros here (way more expensive than the rtx 2060). That's like 100 euros more. Is it worth it to pay that amount for 1440p? Can the rtx 2060 handle 1440p?

Guys I found two versions of the rtx 2060 super. First one is the zotac mini model and the other one is the msi ventus. What do you think? Is the 2060 super a good value for 1440p 144hz?

I'd suggest checking out some youtube videos.  Plug in the different cards you're looking at the games you want to play and see how they handle.

I have a Sapphire Nitro+ Vega 56 and its great, but I wouldn't suggest getting one now for 1440p gaming.  It does alright with most titles I've used it with at 1440, but I don't foresee that being the case for too much longer.  Finding a used V56 might be a good stop gap, but I'd be more inclined to suggest 5700xt for 1440.

The 2060 super goes for the same price as the 5700 XT which is a faster card
