Logitech z625 to TV

Hi! I own the Logitech Z625 speakers and i managed to connect them on my TV through SPDIF, now my question is that is possible to control the volume of the speakers through the RC TV remote? I didn't managed to find a way to do that.

Without knowing what TV you have it would be impossible to know. My phillips TV allows you to control it via a separate volume slider, but if you want it to sync with the main tv volume then you need to use HDMI as the sound connection.

This is the model of my TV https://www.sony.com/electronics/support/televisions-projectors-lcd-tvs/kdl-32r500c/specifications

For example, i want to set the volume of the speakers to a fixed 50% and then to control the volume from RC TV remote.
