So, I've got 2 problems.

Problem #1 is that my computer freezes randomly, but not right after a reboot - usually a few hours after a reboot. Once it freezes, the only thing to do is a hard reboot. I've had and asked this problem before on here, but the problem had seemed to go away then. Clearly, not. The only thing I noticed before it started freezing (about a week ago) is that the computer rebooted for some reason or other, and I'm not sure why. I've uploaded some pics of Reliability Monitor, which claims some sorts of Security Intelligence Update, although I specifically have Windows updates paused for the longest time possible. (The Nvidia update is a firmware update I did to try to fix the problem.) I tried lowering my GPUs clock speed a bit, but no cigar. I've got no idea what it could be, and short of putting everything back to base speeds, I don't know what to try.

Problem #2 - a few months back I had a major Windows crash, with BSODs galore, had to reset WIndows, etc. I posted it on this site also, if you want to check it out. I still have no idea what caused it, and the only possible culprits, based on the symptoms, were Windows itself or my SSD failing. I eventually got it back up and running, but now, every time I reboot, first loads the regular logo screen (Hit F2 and all that), however, when I press F2 nothing happens, and then it changes to the screen I uploaded, first the one with "Force MP500" on the bottom, and then the other one.

Thing is, I've been using my computer since then with no issue (other than Problem #1, which happened recently). Should I trust my BIOS? I know I should, but at the same time, I haven't had any data loss since, and CrystalDiskInfo claims everything is golden. I'm not interested in shelling out for a new one. Maybe it's under warranty? Is it even broken at all? I simply have no idea.

I know this is a lot, but I'm in unfamiliar territory. Any tips will be appreciated.

Sounds like a bad drive, socket, or mount. So try remounting the drive in its socket, try another socket if your motherboard has more than one, and if both fail backup your data immediately and buy a new drive.

How hot is your drive before it locks up, as well? Check CDI for this.

Call Corsair as well and see if your drive is within warrenty. Have the drive out when you do, as they will want the S/N.

Brands I wholeheartedly reccomend (though do have flawed products): Apple, Razer, Corsair, Asus, Gigabyte, bequiet!, Noctua, Fractal, GSkill (RAM only)

Reseated it, still got the BIOS error. Only got 1 socket. Backing up now.

How would I do this? The crashes are random, and usually when I'm not using it, so it's usually locked with the screen off. Unless I keep my computer unlocked, keeping CDI open.

I should probably wait until normal human hours... I should go to sleep.

Maybe I'll leave HWMonitor open, as that tells me the max temps.

By the way, regular temp of my SSD is around 63oC.

Left computer unlocked and HWMonitor open since last night, had no freezes, SSD temps never went above 66oC. Seems to be one of those cases where you try to fix the problem, it disappears, and then comes back in a month to bite you.

Left it, same idea, for the past day. Temps never went above 70, no freezes.

Just to be on the safe side, I called Corsair, explained the problem to them, and it seems they may send me a new one. I hope that'll be the solution, we'll see.
