Hello everyone, I need help on my issue. I’m trying to update BIOS on motherboard Gigabyte AX370 Gaming K5 but it won’t let me. I’m on version F21. I tried to update it so it can receive R5 3600. I used R7 1700 for it. This is the list of the things I tried.
1. Use normal Qflash from the bios, it kept showing Bios ID Check error. I tried all from F10 to F31, all the same. F40 and above show different error, forgot it was unread something. I know it needs F31 first before get to F40 or above. I even tried the other bios from different mobo. All bios I got is from the official website here https://www.gigabyte.com/Motherboard/GA-AX370-Gaming-K5-rev-1x#kf
2. I tried using FreeDOS. Use rufus to make a bootable Flash drive. Put the bios in there. Use the efiflash and autoexec but it shows ID missmatch or something.
3. I tried using @BIOS app from gigabyte but the app won’t launch, it says unable to load dll fbios.dll something something. Tried to run as admin still the same. Already installed the latest AMD Chipset Driver , Ryzen Master, etc.
Bear in mind that I already tried clear cmos, and re do all the stuff, still shows same issue. At this point I might break the motherboard into 2 big pieces. Someone please give me solutions before I’m going crazy.

Some boards don't like going from a fairly old bios to the newest one.

Do all the ones before the current one in order. Then it should work.

due to bioschip size restrictions its likely you have to update in steps. Gigabyte should have it mentioned which Bioses you can jump to from beginning to the end.

Dude, I download all version of it, I tried every single of it. I had like 2 hours of trying to get the bios updated, nothing works.
