Hey Y'all,

I am building my first pc in 10 years (My budget is around 2000$, but if I really want to I can keep saving about 250$ per month and get a more expensive build if that would actually be worth it), and after getting advice from a friend, advice from this forum, and doing a lot of personal research I ended up with this build planned (This build will be for gaming and my work as a web developer),

I have already started buying some parts as they go on sale, and I am planning on finishing this build by around black friday/christmas.

What do y'all think of the build and do you have any suggestions for it?

Some notes, I know I could get a b450 mobo for much cheaper, but honestly I don't want to have to deal with a bios flash, and I know that the ASUS TUF x570 exists and is 130$ cheaper than the strix x570-e that I am thinking of getting but when looking through the reviews it seemed like the x570-e has better built in wifi, and I really like the look of it. That said I am open to other mobo suggestions.

Why that keyboard/mouse?

The only other thing I'd really change is getting an R7 3700X and one of the $200 boards because they're going to be fine unless you need 10 gigabit built in

I assume the wifi will be fine? They're both using intel for it, and the TUF has bluetooth 5.0 support if that matters.

a good WiFi card will never cost you $130 extra, that's for sure.

Besides if networking is what you care about, Gigabyte Aorus Elite Wifi (X570) has the same Intel LAN and Wireless module. Spending more on the CPU makes a ton more sense.

@Streetguru I just picked them because the mouse has the custom keys on the left side and the keyboard has macro keys, but I don't have a preference on the exact brand of keyboard and mouse so if you know of better ones I will happily listen.

@Jurrunio Yeah, honestly it is more because I have always kinda preferred ASUS boards, I like the look of the board and it has pcie 4.0 support so if I get something in the future that uses that I will already have a mobo that works with it, that said I understand that future proofing is stupid, would you suggest the gigabyte aorus elite as a good x570 mobo? Also, does the gigabyte aorus elite have bluetooth support?

What CPU would y'all suggest? the 3700x?

the best 200 dollars motherboards are the Aorus Elite and the x570 Tuf, and there's a wifi variant for that too. Don't know if it has bluetooth though, just look it up on the manifacturer's site

future proofing imo isnt stupid, but to the point of worsening other components significanty is stupid.

If you require macro keys that might be limiting on options, but there is one here for $65

And that mouse is fine if you want a 12 button mouse, didn't see that in the preview.
