Worth it to plug in RX 580 into old PC with an i7-2600?

I was messing around last night and I decided to pull out the motherboard and CPU of an old Dell Optiplex I was given and stuck it into my old gaming PC's case. I got the idea to get a super budget gaming PC to tide me over since I have all the other components from my old gaming PC except a somewhat solid GPU. I was able to find some RX 580s on eBay for $150. Is it worth it or nah? I only really plan on playing Fallout 4, Mortal Kombat 11, and Civilization on it.

 

EDIT: For reference, I'm planning on a Ryzen 5 3600 and RX 5700 XT in the future, along with a new monitor, mouse, and mechanical keyboard (probably a Tex Shinobi).

For a budget gaming PC, the 580 is a solid choice. In terms of bang for buck, the RX 570 is also a good call, being significantly cheaper while still performing very well at 1080p

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

 

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 10 and Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

 

How many watts do I need? ATX 3.0 & PCIe 5.0 spec, PSU misconceptions, protections explained, group reg is bad
