So, recently i think my PC has been under preforming. Is there anyway i can tell this? And do you have any suggestions to improve it.

Ive been playing my games at 1440p on a 144Hz monitor.

My system specs are:

i7-6700K Overclocked @ 4.7GHz (WaterCooled)

Strix 1080

16GB DDR4 3200Mhz

Asus ROG Z170 Maximus VIII Hero

On apex legends i seem to be getting around 100-110FPS?

Gta i get around 80/90+ FPS

Would these be around right for my rig?

depends on the graphics settings

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 10 and Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

How many watts do I needATX 3.0 & PCIe 5.0 spec, PSU misconceptions, protections explainedgroup reg is bad

Your GTA 5 should run into the triple digits and so should apex.  80 to 90 is not right for your setup.  One thing off the top of my head is to DDU "Display Drivers Uninstaller"  and do a clean and reboot then install latest driver and tell us what happens.

Asus Sabertooth x79 / 4930k @ 4500 @ 1.408v / Gigabyte WF 2080 RTX / Corsair VG 64GB @ 1866 & AX1600i & H115i Pro @ 2x Noctua NF-A14 / Carbide 330r Blackout

Scarlett 2i2 Audio Interface / KRK Rokits 10" / Sennheiser HD 650 / Logitech G Pro Wireless Mouse & G915 Linear & G935 & C920 / SL 88 Grand / Cakewalk / NF-A14 Int P12 Ex
AOC 40" 4k Curved / LG 55" OLED C9 120hz / LaCie Porsche Design 2TB & 500GB / Samsung 950 Pro 500GB / 850 Pro 500GB / Crucial m4 500GB / Asus M.2 Card

Yeah i needa upgrade really lmao, ill wait till the new GPU's come out probs! Needa upgrade my CPU too

I mean, it's fine and I think you should have a good experience.

Lower some GPU related settings to bump up fps. Your CPU should be able to push more fps.

I personally wouldn't upgrade until my gpu can't do 60fps at my desired resolution no matter how much I reduce settings.

For me, that's still a couple years away on my V64, which is about even with your 1080.

Yeah I just wanna run my games at 144fps, to match my monitor.

I'll have to wait and see what the prices are like.

Tweak settings a bit and you should be fine. You can drop AA a bit on higher resolutions, mess with lighting/shadow settings depending on the game as well. Usually you can squeeze out a good 20-30fps or more by lowering settings that don't make much of a visual impact but do kill performance, again it depends on the game though.
