Hi,

I have a Ryzen 5 2600 on a MSI B450M Pro-VDH plus motherboard.

I wanted to upgrade my RAM to a 16GB set with 3000MHz+ but I've heard I may run into compatability problems depending on the RAM.

Update your bios and you will be fine

Also since you have a MSI grab the latest BIOS and flash it.  If you need instructions on doing so let us know.  Where are Gigabyte needs you to update BIOS one version at a time until you reach the latest version and what not.

? No? Pretty sure they use the standard BIOS update procedure, every now and then there's a few BIOS versions that need a previous one to work (so you update to that, then to the one you want), but usually you can just slap to the latest.
