if this is in the wrong place please move it to the correct place.  Ok so im trying to get mac OS mojave to run inside of a VM using VM ware workstation 15.  My computer specs are listed below.  I will refrence the article that i am using to do this.  https://kb.amd-osx.com/guides/vmware/installing-macos.html

I believe im up to the part when im rebuilding the kernerl.  Basically my issue is if i go and boot into the system i get a cpu error and the system just shuts off.  If i go into the termanel, and i input the commands either all together or seperate, i dont get the kernel cache ID.  This is my first time doing this so i am very impressed that i got this far.  The reason why im doing this is because i wana start messing around with mac OS without destroying a acuall mac.  If someone could please help me that would be amazing as ive been working on this for 3 days now with no success

I'm sorry that this isn't very helpful, but does it have to be in VMWare? Since I had managed to get MacOS running under both QEMU and VirtualBox (no need to rebuild the kernel either, you just need to run a few commands to fake a Mac's hardware), so I can help with both, but I have no experience with VMWare.

Currently I am having trouble understanding how to boot MacOS on an actual hardware, since my CPUs are not powerful enough to run virtualized MacOS at full speed (laptop i5 limited by horrible construction of laptop, desktop i3s that are too old to be powerful enough, plus limited RAM on the desktop). And no, I do not intend to switch over to MacOS, I like Solus too much for that, this is just to gain experience with MacOS, similar to you.
