I am just looking at the cooling tier list and realize the cooler was rated pretty badly. Anyone can share your experience with this card?

I have a local sale for this card now so i am just wondering if i should get this.

Thanks!

It's fine just don't overclock it heavily

What's your current GPU?

I edit my posts a lot, Twitter is @LordStreetguru just don't ask PC questions there mostly...

Spoiler

What is your budget/country for your new PC?

what monitor resolution/refresh rate?

What games or other software do you need to run?

I have the same card and it's honestly quite good in my experience, with stock fan curve and zero rpm mode my card usually max at 80C under full load and if I adjust the curve a little bit aggressive it can top at 72-75C at 60% fan rpm. I live in a very humid place so take note of that too. You don't want to run it at 100% though, the noise level is very high and I do use desk fan in my room so I usually don't really care much for fan noises until I heard the this card's fan running at 100%.

I had this exact card for a while. Ended up selling it. Thermals were good enough, noise was never an issue for me. Looks cool as hell, imo, but I prefer a simple black design with accents to a flashy yellow and black triple-slot monstrosity with RGB on everything and a built-in intentional fireworks display. I hardly overclocked it because I wasn't planning on using it for myself, just to include it in a system I was flipping. I can't really comment on its overclocking performance, but a cooler that basic will probably not be what you're looking for if breaking records is your thing.

If you can get your hands on it for $60 or less locally, you're getting a really good deal. $70-75 is still ok. For reference, I sold mine by itself for $80 about three weeks ago.

I enjoy buying junk and sinking more money than it's worth into it to make it less junk.

I think you've mistaken this card to a red devil, red dragon is just plain black.

No, this is the right card. It's a plain black cooler with red accents (the dragon on the shroud). I prefer those to triple slot monstrosities.
