Shutdown during gaming (possible PSU failure?)

Hello all, running into some weird issues lately. Between 15-30 minutes of light gaming, the computers shuts down and reboots. Event viewer is showing event id 6008 every time before shutdown (Indicates a dirty/improper shutdown. Appears in the log when the previous shutdown was unexpected, e.g. due to power loss or BSoD (Bug check)
 

Immediately before shutdown HWinfo log is showing motherboard temp hovering around 30'C with CPU hovering around 35'C and GPU around 35-41'C, this is happening when playing video games. In this case CS:GO.

OS: Win 10 pro - version 1903 - OS build 18362.295

MOBO is: https://www.asrock.com/mb/Intel/Fatal1ty H97 Killer/ 
CPU - i7 4790 (non-k)
GPU - GTX 760
RAM - 16GB (4x4GB) 1600
PSU - EVGA 550W G2 (80 plus gold)
SSD: Samsung EVO 850 250GB

(Latest drivers & BIOS version for all)

Hardware is about 4 years old.
 

I've run memcheck twice and 0 errors in the RAM. Samsung Magician check shows SSD performance/reliability as solid. Temps never exceed 50'C rarely going over 40'C prior to shutdown.

 

Could this be a PSU issue? I thought it could have been VRM temps triggering ASROCKS BIOS "over temperature protection"? But temps never go above 30'C on the motherboard according to HWinfo and from what i've read online, ASROCK's "over temperature protection" is set to turn off power if temps reach 70'C.

have you OCed your gpu?

 

if so remove the overclock.

 

otherwise i'd think it's the psu

When there is a system shut down it is the CPU getting way how and at TJ MAX. Your PSU chandle the load and juice needed by towars cards. I point at the PSU my friend.

Did it start happening when the windows 1903 update came out? My PC has been crashing lately too ever since I got that update. Does the screen just shut off or does the pc turn off too?

HWinfo points CPU is 72'C from TJ MAX.
CPU temp @ 35'C too hot?

I think it is PSU too! Well time to upgrade power supply and GPU (RX 5700)

PC turns off and display loses input. I can't say if it only started happening once the update came out or not. That is possible. Does your PC shutdown during gaming since 1903?

No, typically in the middle of a match of CS:GO. Sometimes during choosing teams or switching maps, seems pretty random. Hasn't ever crashed in lobby/menus.
