I've been having trouble with a monitor I purchased off craigslist and I'm guessing that I might have gotten a lemon that someone didn't know to use a warranty for or didn't for whatever reason. I've contacted the company, sceptre, that sells the monitor to ask if there's any possibility that I could get a warranty considering where I bought it, and if I theres any troubleshooting that they have, so I've already considered that option.

I'm asking here if this problem has any known source, and if its obvious where the problem is coming from. Also if there's anything that y'all would suggest doing to fix it (looking at the PCB/connections to see if something is soldered badly, replacing panel, idk, etc.) I've seen other people have zero trouble with this monitor when looking online, and others have had some problems as well, but I haven't found a solution.

problem described below

The product in question is a E255B-1658A 24.5" 165hz monitor.(https://www.amazon.com/Sceptre-E255B-1658A-Gaming-Monitor-DisplayPort/dp/B07KGMQGDT/ref=sr_1_1?keywords=sceptre+165hz&qid=1567977563&s=gateway&sr=8-1) The problem I've been having is that after prolonged use, or after being plugged in, the monitor will either fail to turn on, with it flashing between an unlighted black/lighted dark blue or black screen. This occurs when I either use the monitor for an extended period of time (restarting it doesn't work) or immediately when I turn it on if the monitor was already plugged into a computer/turned on (I've tried it with multiple computers and it has the same problems regardless of what machine I'm running.)

thanks in advance :)
