RTX 2070 super (new) vs GTX 1080ti (used)

Hello what do you think is a better choice. Brand new RTX 2070 super, or used GTX 1080ti (1year waranty) . New RTX 2070 super is only arround 70 dollars more than used GTX 1080ti. Use: gaming on 1440p 144hz Gsync screen. I do plan to upgrade to something like rtx 3080ti in the future, as current rtx 2080ti is way too expensive for fps gain it offers over gtx 1080ti. Thanks

Maybe wait for the 2180ti, 3080 could be a decade away!

The 1080 ti is 3% faster than the 2070S, but lacks raytracing and nvidia has dropped optimization, which means the 2070S will probably end up being slightly faster in the future. Not to forget it draws less power. The choice is up to you, if you think this is worth 70 dollars more

I’d go for the super, performance is nearly identical, and u get to try out ray tracing and dlss for your self

the 1080 ti is now slower than the 2070S in newer titles
