I just got a new Ryzen 5 3600 and the CPU fan is working at 100% as soon as I start the PC and never changes even if my PC is completely idle. I have a MSI Gaming Plus B450 motherboard. My cooler is a 120mm CoolerMaster AIO.  Can't find anything in the BOIS related to fan speed. (Although i'm no expert with this BOIS)

Is the fan plugged into a 4 pin header or a 3 pin header?

I edit my posts a lot, Twitter is @LordStreetguru just don't ask PC questions there mostly...

Make sure it’s plugged into the right header on the motherboard.

A BIOS update would probably fix this.  Also make sure you use Smart Fan 5 and put it to quiet in the BIOS.  good luck
