Hello everyone,

My Asus Maximus XI Hero Wifi has a weird problem...

My system has a 9900KF, Corsair Vengeance Pro RGB 3200MHz 64G (16x4), EVGA 2080Ti FTW3 Ultra and Samsung 970 1TB for boot drive

The problem is that when I install 64G of RAM and try to install any drivers, the system will instantly freeze and crash.

However, When I pull out two RAM stick and left with 32G of RAM, the installation runs perfectly and the system never crash.

I check the specification on Asus website and it said the motherboard do support 64G RAM.

I tried to swap the motherboard, GPU and PSU, but they have the same problem.

Please help!

Thank you!

is that with XMP off or on?

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 10 and Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

How many watts do I needATX 3.0 & PCIe 5.0 spec, PSU misconceptions, protections explainedgroup reg is bad

Try to disable virtual memory following this options (it's in portuguese but the options are in the same place):

Then, got to your bios settings and check if XMP are all enabled or disabled...

CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D; Mobo: Asus ROG Crosshair Hero X670E; RAM: Team Group T-Force 2x16GB (32GB) DDR5 @ 6000MHz CL38; GPU: RTX 4080 - ZOTAC GAMING AMP Extreme AIRO; Case: NZXT H7 Flow; Storage: Kingston KC3000 1TB + Adata Legend 900 2TB; Cooling: Cooler Master PL360; PSU: Corsair HX 1200

Thank you guys!

I checked the QVL, and didn't find my memory kit.

So I decided to go with G-Skill because there are more options in G-Skill and also they are cheaper than Corsair ones....

Thank you for your knowledge!

That's funny, I mean, It shouldn't give you any problems

Update...I just received G-skill Trident Z 64g kit which is on the QVL list.

When I swap the ram and turn it on, wait till the lock screen, the system freeze and crash instantly.
