Hello everyone,

the past few weeks I've been doing some research on what motherboard I should get for the Ryzen 7 3700x. I think its best to not get a B450 motherboard, as the good ones are all MSI and I've read some terrible issues that people had with the company.

I have some different choices which are:

- Gigabyte X570 Aorus Elite

- ASUS TUF Gaming X570 Plus (No WiFi)

What do you think is best? If you can recommend other boards, please do so.

Thanks!

As much as I like Asus, Gigabyte has been making high end motherboards lately, so I would go with Aorus Elite for sure.

Main system: Ryzen 7 7800X3D / Asus ROG Strix B650E / G.Skill Trident Z5 NEO 32GB 6000Mhz / Powercolor RX 7900 XTX Red Devil/ EVGA 750W GQ / NZXT H5 Flow

They are, that was kinda my point that they're both the same-ish. i'd go for the one that has the ports you want + what looks good

You can aim for a lot more than just ports and appearance. Proper VRM solutions, memory OC capability and topology, heat sink design, all pretty important factors. Although in all these things, the Aorus and TUF listed in the original post are pretty neck and neck

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 10 and Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

Gigabyte customer support is slightly less painful so I would choose them
