MSI x470 red light on CPU, GPU not turning on

So i just finished my first build:
- MSI x470 Gaming Pro
- AMD Ryzen 5 3600
- MSI rx5700 xt
- 2*8GB (G.skill Aegis)
- Seasonic S12 PSU
- M.2 NVMe from Intel

When turning my PC on, the fan of the CPU and of the case turn on. But also red lights over each RAM and at the CPU debug light.
The fans of the GPU do not work.
I get no video signal, nor power for my keyboard or my mouse. Also no sounds.
Help would be very appreciated!


PS: Tried reseating the CPU, the GPU, the SSD, the DRAM. I tried booting without the SSD, then only with 1 DRAM stick, nothing worked.

your motherboard most likely need a BIOS update prior to suppporting ryzen 2 CPU's.

Okay, is there a way for me to do it "directly"? I don't have another compatible CPU, so I cannot start the PC at all.

unfortunately no you'll have to find a previous gen AMD CPU...maybe go to a local shop and ask them to update it or something...sorry man.
