A little while ago I finally built my first computer, replacing my old prebuilt junk. But just recently I wanted to OC my CPU. All goes well and I can successfully get to 4.7GHz under load with a high 1.2 Vcore on average but Vcore voltage is randomly spiking >1.4 volts. This has me worried and I think it might be caused by Adaptive Vcore Voltage being on. I've searched the BIOS, Googled and tried changing settings others recommend but nothing has worked yet. All I want to do is disable the feature and see if that fixes the problem!

Specs are as follows:

i7-8700k

Gigabyte z390 Aorus Ultra (F7 bios)

GTX 1070

4x8GB og Ripjaws V 2800Mhz

Edit: Just now realized how old the F7 BIOS is... Gonna try updating to lastest BIOS.
