Is 550W ok for a 2080?

Ive got a Corsair RM 550X V2 thinking I would just buy a 2060s but I got a really good deal on a EVGA Black 2080 from a friend. 

 

I have a R5 3600 and am not planning to overclock anything. 

 

Since this is a good quality PSU will the 550W be enough.

 

The outervison PSU calculator gives me 495W

 

(I have run some games and timespy runs and no crashes)

Outervision overestimates like crazy.

 

550 watts is plenty for your rig, look in my signature for a point of reference.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

 

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 10 and Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

 

How many watts do I need? ATX 3.0 & PCIe 5.0 spec, PSU misconceptions, protections explained, group reg is bad
