I have the white version that has gloss feel white black uses different material. what is your preference? any life span differences?

it is too bad I did not even know the white is gloss instead of matte. I kind of prefer matte since gloss tends to leave dirty marks?

Yeah, white gloss will pick up more marks.  You can usually tell if something is glossy by the reflections in product images.

not according to the product box, but the display presentation on their website. Might return or exchange the white to black

The side grips on both will wear out if my M65 Pro RGB is any indication, and since the white has a gloss top instead of the rubberized finish of the black it will likely show less wear in that aspect.

 

I'd still prefer the black model just due to it not being white, but realistically the white model would probably look better in the end.
