so i got the LG 34UC88-B

a 34" 3440x1440 IPS curved display

with 75hz freesync

and im thinking about wether or not i should sell it for something else.

these days i dont really do much on the system and if at all then its playing coop titles with friends.

so i was thinking about maybe something more gaming focused with gsync and more hz?

maybe the dell alienware AW3418HW? also ips but with 160hz g-sync but with the lower 1080p res

or something similar with a va panel?

i dont want to loose the 21:9 or size but i would like more hz and maybe proper g-sync so it works right doesnt have the weird freesync glitches on nvidia cards. well t least mine has flickering.

anyway what do you think would you switch? what would you go for ips or va? is 1080p vs 1440p really that bad if im sitting a little further away from it anyway? (tried playing at 1080p, didnt look that bad)

price range idk but not 2k or something i think i might be able to sell mine for around 400 and some 600-700€ models can be found used for 450 or so (at least that dell can be) so taht was what i was thinking

"You know it'll clock down as soon as it hits 40°C, right?" - "Yeah ... but it doesnt hit 40°C ... ever  😄"
