x470 or x570

Hi guys so im deciding between a x470 or a x570 board for my 3700x

I really don't have any clue on which type of board I wanna buy 

 

Preference x570: ASRock X570 Phantom Gaming X or the MSI MEG x570  ACE ( 359 euro and 380 euro)

 

Preference x470 board: Asus ROG CROSSHAIR VII HERO (280 Euro )

 

The asus rog is really easy to do a bios update and then it will be a good board  but then again is spending an extra 100 euro's maybe worth it for futureproofing. I dont know help me out

If you're willing to spend €280 on a X470 board... why don't you just get the X570 ASUS TUF motherboard with Wi-Fi?

The X570 TUF doesnt have Bios Flashback which saved my life yesterday, and the Crosshair VII is a better featured board

That doesn't even look bad at all... Really am ( and im sorry ) a sucker for rgb but the price is really amazing! So this will really be an option for me thanks

Isnt a x570 board already updated for an 3700x?

Yes it is, but i was not able to rollback bios update to a way way older bios before ryzen 3000 agesa, the flashback feature worked just fine, and the Crosshair VII as Supreme FX audio and more luxury stuff.

Edit: The X570 boards mentionned are 100 euro more expensive, they certainly look nice but the Crosshair VII as almost all the same features but PCIe Gen 4

Have you looked into the Taichi model? Has bios Flashback.
