Laptop CPU heats up while off and wont turn on

I found a lenovo yoga 2 13 in the garbage today and am trying to see if I can fix it up. It does not turn on when plunged in,and I have tried to do the thing where you disconnect the battery and release the flea charge, as well as disconnecting the CMOS cable. The keyboard back light, fan nor screen show any life when using the power button. One thing that I noticed is that the cpu continuously heats up while the laptop is plugged in.

Does anyone have any tips or advice for this situation?

There's probably a reason it was in the garbage. There's likely a short somewhere that is heating up that area regardless of if the machine turns on.

 

With that said, why were you looking in the garbage?

I was walking home from work and noticed it sticking out a little lmao, anyways I was hoping that I could fix it up and give it to a buddy that is leaving for university but doesn't have much money. But im assuming a short in it would take too much time/effort than its worth feelsbad
