NEW Acer v277u monitor, not recognized as 75hz nor 10bit....

I am just trying to get the most out of my new v277u monitor which is connected to a nvda 2070....

Its a 75hz 10bit monitor.

I downloaded the drivers from acer: https://www.acer.com/ac/en/US/content/support-product/7647?b=1

(which, didnt change the frequency options vs generic pnp monitor)

In windows advanced display settings it says 69hz monitor, 8 bit.

Trying to get the full 75hz, and 10bit....

1.)Should I care?

2.)If so what do I do?

This seems insanely hard given that this should be the most mainstream use case of a monitor... install on windows 10... jeeze whats the issue?

Hey Todd, did you ever get Windows to recognize this monitor correctly? Also does free sync work with your 2070? I have a 2060 Super and I am considering buying 3 of these monitors from here: https://www.backmarket.com/tested-and-certified-used-acer-27-inch-2560-x-1440-qhd-monitor-v277u/54877.html#?l=3

Thanks,

Nick
