I'm not sure about the category Computer Hardware or Linux.

Hi there :)

I experienced some problems with the manjaro graphics driver.

I could not use my hdmi port, not my mini-dp port; but i solved the problem by doing the following manipulation:

  • go to manjaro setting manager
  • hardware configuration
  • uninstall all bumblebee drivers for [GeForce GTX 1050 Ti Mobile]
  • install video-nvidia-390xx
  • reboot

But, a new problem has appeared :

When I plugged it (hdmi and mini-dp) I have the image on both screens but not on the built-in screens (it's ok because I close the laptop in this configuration).

But when I unplug all the additional screens the built-in screens are black.

I feel that the driver does not support the built-in screen.

Any idea ?

How did you install the driver? Also why are you using 390.xx? 430.xx is the latest version. When I installed my driver I typed "sudo mhwd -a pci nonfree 0300" into the terminal without quotes and after a reboot had a fully working and up to date Nvidia driver.

Hi :) i follow this instruction first but my dual screen doesn't work so i opened this windows and i test some other driver and the video-nvidia-390xx or video-nvidia works.

Do I understand it correctly that you like to use both, Intel UHD and Nvidia 1050Ti, simultaneously on 2+ displays with a laptop? If yes:

With the standard tour your UHD (internal) display will probably stay black unless you use Prime.

Bumblebee is supposed to switch between both gpus, the UHD and the 1050Ti. Without it you are either using the UHD or the 1050Ti. You need to check this one:
