I am considering the note10. I know is expensive and that the op7pro exists but the note10 is smaller (which I like) and it has a pen (something i really want).

are there any other concerns with the phone?

also, can the display be overclocked even a little? the op7pro is very attractive for the 90hz because i do a lot of reading (scrolling down pages etc and gaming) but its too big for my hands/pockets.

so can the note10 increase the hz by even like 10hz?

The Note 10 shouldn't even exist. An S10+ will give you identical specs as well as a bigger battery, headphone jack and expandable memory. Plus it's way cheaper. You lose the pen but if it's THAT important for you, then no the Note 10 doesn't have any major drawbacks. Except that it shouldn't exist. ;)

Edit: I have no idea about overclocking the display or if it's possible.

  • s10+ is about 820 ish. student discount on samsung website is 880 for the note10. so the extra 60ish for the pen is worth it.
  • I dont really need the extra ROM. i dont use that much (google photos has unlimited upload at reduced quality)
  • the note10 comes with usbc earphones so i dont mind too much that there is no 3.5mm and i have wireless earphones already anyway.
  • the note10 has a smaller size which I like more because i have small pockets and i have smaller hands
  • the s10+ does have a much larger battery but I dont really use my phone very heavily and I charge my phone every night anyway. the difference is important but does not bother me too much.

thanks for your answer though!!
