I am planning on building a micro-atx system using Ryzen 3rd gen, will have to be micro-atx due to size limitations with where the system will be used. The system will be mainly used for software development, basic Photoshop, web browsing and some gaming. I do have some parts that I am planning on using so won't need a graphics card (MSI GeForce GTX 970 4G), hard drives or SSD's, power supply (Corsair CX550) or Windows but would like to get a monitor, preferably a 1440p one which is 27 inches within the budget of £650. This is what I've come up with so far,:

PCPartPicker Part List: https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/vxPZ4q

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 3600 3.6 GHz 6-Core Processor  (£187.98 @ Aria PC)
CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO 82.9 CFM Sleeve Bearing CPU Cooler  (£27.95 @ Amazon UK)
Motherboard: Asus TUF B450M-PLUS GAMING Micro ATX AM4 Motherboard  (£82.99 @ AWD-IT)
Memory: Corsair Vengeance LPX 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3000 Memory  (£78.78 @ Aria PC)
Case: Cooler Master Master Box Q300L (£44.99)
Total: £422.69

Only thing I haven't picked out is a monitor, not too sure what to look for to be honest. The case is the biggest case that will be fit in the space where the computer will be used. Just wondering if this is a decent system and if anything needs changing. Also not set on using AMD, I am open to using Intel if there is an alternative that is cheaper / better for the price.

The MSI B450M Mortar is a much better board.

If you want a slightly cheaper option then the B450M Gaming Plus.

This Crucial Ram is also good for overclocking.

Better cooler.

If you are sticking with the GTX 970 then a 1080p monitor would be better for the gaming part. Of course if you don't mind lowering the settings then go with a 1440p.

OK, great thanks for your recommendations. Unfortuantely an ATX case is just too big for where the system will be located, the Q300L case is about the biggest case that will fit. Based on your recommended parts, I'm looking at something more like this now:
