Nvme wont show up in the bios

So I bought a nvme Crucial P1 1TB recently and I did a fresh install of windows on it (also formatted my other SSD which is a Samsung 860 EVO 250gb). It recognized the nvme in the windows installer but it doesn't show up in the boot bios options for some reason. I've updated the firmware with the crucial's software but it still doesn't show.

Also as you can see in the photo why is my 860 evo showing up as Windows Boot Manager if my windows is installed on the nvme?

Have you looked in boot config to see if you need to change something to allow nvme boot?

Why not try pulling the other drive and seeing if it boots. That way you can see if it's the same windows there booting with both in

So after trying, it wont boot and keeps going into the BIOS so im pretty sure the 860 is being used as the boot drive -.-

next step is to put in your installation media and see if it is still detecting the NVMe drive.

I will try doing that tomorrow, quick question, will clearing the CMOS revert my BIOS version? I recently installed a r7 3700x and had to update my BIOS to the latest version so I could use it and I dont have my other CPU anymore so I cant update again.

No, it only wipes the settings, bios version stays intact.
