Transparency not working on windows 10

Just done a new build. Had many problems but forget those.

 

newesr one transparency isn’t working. I’ve turned it on in settings turning it on and off just makes the gray a little darker but not transparent.

why isn’t it working?

 

have reinstalled windows too. All updates are done.

Have you installed your graphics card drivers yet? (or maybe they need a reinstall if they've become corrupted.) That's the main reason I have had Windows Aero (transparency) not work in the past. Listing your system specs is also a good idea when asking for help too.
