HDR 10 rating vs VESA certified displayhdr 600?

Go to solution Solved by Fasauceome,

HDR 10 means a peak brightness of 1000 nits, but DisplayHDR 600 has a peak brightness of 600 nits

I'm looking at some monitors and when I was comparing them one of the differences was one has an HDR 10 rating while the other had a VESA certified displayhdr 600. What is the difference between these two ratings? From what I believe one monitors just has a sticker that the other doesn't but they're the same. Is that correct?
